"HEADING WEST"
is a limied edition print depicting a late summer day in the late 1940s.
The train has made its scheduled stop at the Montevideo Depot. A couple of kids stop at the crossing to get a closer look at the magnificent steam engine and tender pulling the passenger train.
A farmer on his Model B John Deer waits for instructions from Johnny, the friendly crossing guard. Travelers bound for the west coast gaze out the coach windows, enjoying a glance of rural midwestern life as they are "HEADING WEST."
"HEADING WEST," by Stephen Henning, well-known artist from Evansville, Minnesota has been commissioned by the Milwaukee Road Heritage Center. It is being sold and distributed by the Gallery on 1st and the Milwaukee Road Heritage Center as a fund raiser.
Size: 13" x 24" Image Size, an edition of 300 signed and numbered prints, 30 artist proofs and 15 canvases.
